During my time in college, under the mentorship of Jeff Dintaman, my passion for lighting design blossomed. My most recent lighting endeavor was my senior project, a production of "The Last Five Years," where I took on multiple roles including Cathy, choreographer and director, and designed the light costumes, and set. This experience further solidified my belief that lighting is not just technical, but an art form in its own right. It has the power to elevate a performance and evoke emotions, making it a crucial element of any production.

My approach to lighting design is rooted in the understanding that it goes beyond mere illumination; it is about symbolism, creating moments both comedic and dramatic, and fostering strong collaboration to achieve the desired effect. As an actor myself, I understand firsthand the importance of having the right lighting to enhance performances. Furthermore, I have hands-on experience running light boards for shows, giving me a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of lighting design.
